What does RouteFilm.ai do?
Tell us in one sentence where you want to go and how you want to feel — we use AI to give you 3 cinematic concept posters + a real route map + share-ready copy. Free to try (with watermark), unlock HD watermark-free + share copy + 2 reshoots for $4.9.
Difference between free and paid?
Free: 3 concept cards + 1 watermarked movie poster + 1 watermarked route map. Paid: HD watermark-free poster + HD route map + AI captions ready for Instagram / TikTok / X + 2 reshoots.
Can I upload my own photo as the lead?
Yes. Upload one person or scene reference image. AI uses it for overall identity, outfit, pose, or atmosphere and blends it into the poster; it does not create an exact ID-style face copy. You can also skip the upload.
Will my photo be kept?
It is saved with this work so we can generate, unlock HD, retry, and recover your result. It is not used for model training. You can skip the photo upload.
What destinations are supported?
Anywhere on earth. Enter a destination and we create the route, scene descriptions, and a voice that fits the place. Iceland Ring Road, Tuscany, Patagonia, California Highway 1, Norwegian fjords, Kenya safari, Hokkaido, and Xinjiang all work.
Why does generation take 30-60s?
A work is more than one image: we read your trip idea, shape the poster direction, then generate the poster, route map, and share copy. Complex destinations or HD poster sets can take longer. You can stay on the page or return later from My Works.
What if generation fails?
The service can occasionally get busy. We retry 3 times automatically. If it keeps failing, please try again later and email us — your free quota will not be consumed.
Payment methods?
The checkout page shows the currently available credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other payment options. More options are coming soon. $4.9 one-time, no subscription.
Refund Policy
RouteFilm.ai is an AI-generated digital good, sold under 'paid = delivered' principle. But we know AI sometimes misses the mark — so we offer this commitment:
✅ Full refund eligibility: within 7 days of purchase, fewer than 2 reshoots used, AI result completely unsatisfactory — email us with the case, we refund in full to the original payment method.
After refund your HD assets are invalidated (links broken). We don't track images already downloaded locally.
❌ Not eligible: (a) past 7 days; (b) already used both reshoots (means you tried to tune satisfaction); (c) just don't like it without a clear quality issue (like 'redo with a different city' = a new order).

Terms of Service
By using RouteFilm.ai you agree to:
1. Content rights: photos you upload remain yours; you guarantee you have the right to use them. We don't claim copyright on your input. Generated posters/route maps you can use freely for personal and social media; commercial ads / print / publishing require separate license (email).
2. Prohibited content: no unauthorized photos of others, no inappropriate content involving minors, no violence/gore/pornography. Violators are banned and content deleted.
3. Service availability: we do our best but don't guarantee 100% uptime. Generation may delay or fail during fal.ai / DeepSeek upstream outages.
4. Liability: we're not responsible for actual travel losses caused by inaccuracies in AI-generated content (route map coordinates, geographic info, etc.) — this product is for creative inspiration and sharing, not professional trip planning.
5. Changes: we reserve the right to update these terms; significant changes will be emailed to paid users.
Privacy Policy
Our privacy commitments are specific:
1. Photos you upload: the browser compresses to ≤512px webp (the original resolution never leaves your device), base64 is sent to fal.ai for generation. fal.ai discards after processing; our backend does not persist them.
2. Your text input (one-liner / tags / lead name): stored in our Postgres DB, linked to your order and generation records as proof for support. Not used for AI training; not sold to third parties.
3. Third parties: DeepSeek (concept generation), fal.ai (image generation), Creem (payment), better-auth (login) receive necessary data — please read their privacy policies.
4. Cookies: used for login session and language preference; no cross-site tracking.
5. Data deletion: email us anytime to delete your account and all associated data; we'll handle within 7 days.
6. Region: service runs in Singapore region; your data may be stored cross-border. If you have compliance constraints, please use a regional alternative.
